Fundamentals of decentralisation, blockchain technology and practical steps to free yourself of the tyranny of centralised government.

I recently gave a somewhat impromptu in-person, condensed presentation of my Blockchain Fundamentals course. It was very well received so I plan to do more.

Ultimately, what I’m teaching is the necessary knowledge to “decentralise” yourself, that is to be able to build and support communities that can function independently of the centralised fabric of society that we have become all to accustomed - and slave - to.

Empty, sandy, white beaches with coconut trees may not be your idea of paradise, or even feasible but whatever it is, I can help you achieve it.

You might not even be down any rabbit holes but I can guarantee you that the blockchain version of all other commercial and social interactions is economically better for both producer and consumer, and I can help you be both which is essentially what makes society.

The workshop is highly interactive and will easily take four hours which will fly by but I will cover all this in sufficient detail for you to get a really good grasp of the fundamentals:

1. Introduction to Distributed Ledger Technology, including descriptions of state machines, consensus protocols, replication and synchronisation;

2. Essential cryptography - hashing, symmetric and asymmetric keys, signatures, encryption and decryption;

3. Real-world applications of blockchain solutions - distributed autonomous organisations, Web3 apps and decentralised money.

It might sound scary but it’s all really important and you’ll be so familiar with all the terms by the end of it. Better still, you’ll have the knowledge, skills and tools to immediately start building your own decentralised communities, organised using a DAO, with your own fungible tokens of value and NFTs behaving like digital twins of your real-world assets. You’ll be more than one step closer to the freedom that is our right.
