I struggle with the idea that capitalism is about liberalism when what we see is the hoarding and concentration of capital into fewer and fewer hands while it converts anything and anyone into a commodity. I just can't reconcile capitalism with freedom. But I understand that communism is unacceptable too. The thing is, government is/was SUPPOSED to be the voice of the people as a counterweight to the power of the oligarchs. I see our current paradigm as a failure to hold government accountable. But that can only happen in an educated population.
Capitalism or Corporatism?
Good work.
Excellent how you have laid things out. So easy to sell children on anything, from capitalism is evil to men can be mothers.
Thanks Joel. The graphic is a perfect explanation.
