What a great list and series of quotes. Can we plaster this from billboard size, to bumper sticker size absolutely EVERYWHERE? Reading that was like a needed tonic. Thanks.

Civil disobedience now. Stop any and all direct debit, politely refuse to pay tax for the moment if possible. Get bills sent and pay by cheque or card. Use cash wherever possible and keep small business alive. This is fascism, corporate is not your friend... As for the state, waste their time with correspondence and queries, the judiciary is paralysed so there is little the Einsatzgruppen can do.

Fabulous quotes. Some of your words: " People still foolishly try to plea and reason with their governments, using half measures, trying to legally object to further eradication of freedoms, and over increasing control and censorship. The problem is, none of that really matters." Absolutely not. I keep being astounded at people's wanting the government to reform itself.

Social contracts are mutable and evolve over time. We continually sign up to amendments by accepting the new terms and conditions. What has happened in the last three years is that they have ripped up the old social contract, shredded it completely, and now they are trying to convince us by deception to sign up to the terms of a new social contract. All that is required is our obedience and acceptance of the new terms which we foolishly believe are just simple amendments to the old social contract, where we still have human rights and where 'justice' and the rule of law still apply. By placidly staying at home, you signed up to the new contract. By wearing a stupid mask 'because it's the law' or because you believed against all the evidence that it would prevent transmission of a deadly virus, you signed up to the new social contract. By getting jabbed, you signed up to the new social contract. By accepting a government grant to install a useless heat pump, you signed up to the new social contract. By downloading various apps onto your 'smart' (idiot) phone, you're signing up to the new social contract. It's not too late to rescind your acceptance of the terms and conditions - we're in the 'cooling off period'. But do it now - or accept slavery for yourself and for your children and their children if you do not.

What a brilliant post! I need loads of t-shirts with those quotes emblazoned on them! It's fascinating how humans just don't change - only their hairstyles do. One of the major problems with the modern world is most people wouldn't know who any of those quoted people were because the post-war education system in the western world ensures we are all ignorant. So we don't recognise tyranny in our own countries.

Thank you Joel. Definitely the most profound & far reaching description of the current world crisis.

Here's my take on what's actually already happened. Behind the current smoke & mirrors bs.

Excellent quotes from the world's greatest philosophers. Who could disagree? But it's only half the story. We have to find a way out of the morass that we find ourselves in.

This same theme was expressed by Neil Oliver back in May 2022: https://twitter.com/GBNEWS/status/1530600411463393280?s=20&t=E9X4qRO_e-SToJtldBENaw

His conclusion: “This is our country, our world. The moment we decide collectively that we have nothing to fear from those who would take advantage of our good nature, in that moment the fear is gone, and somewhere in their hearts and somewhere in their heads, the billionaires of Davos must know it too”
